Hello 2008 visitors.........We are doing a major overhall on this site over the next few days. I want your input....... so here the introduction to Let’s Just Fish. Brought to you by North American Inshore Sportsmen I have belonged and organized many fresh water, salt water, fly fishing, offshore, inshore, non boater, boater, pier, kayak fishing clubs over the years and I have come to one conclusion, “I joined because I loved to fish for fun, competition and charity fund raising”. It doesn’t matter if you fish for Speckled Trout, Red Fish, Flounder, Cobia, Red Snapper, Blue Marlin, Carp, Catfish, Bass, Bream, Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout, Salmon, Pike, Walleye, Sturgeon…….well you get the picture. It does not matter what you fish for, just as long as you are fishing for its pure pleasure. I did not join any of the clubs or organizations for the pleasure of paying dues, attend meeting, receive minutes of the meeting, or a whole bunch of other stuff that had nothing to do with fishing. I joined to fish with fellow anglers and enjoy the fellowship with friends and family. Now based on the above…….here’s how Lets Just Fish works. Membership Dues….annual, life, or any other payment: None Ever Meeting to attend: None Ever Minutes of the Meeting to review: None Never Annual reports: None Never Vote on who is the best for a position on the Board of Directors: Never Vote on who is liked best: Never Vote on who is the best angler: Never So How About Let’s Just………… FISH with friends and family for fun FISH in your own tournaments FISH to raise money for charities are what ever you wish FISH to enjoy nature FISH to teach someone else to fish FISH just because you feel like it FISH and let us post your pictures FISH and share your day on our member’s only chat board Fish and post your legislative concerns for your area If you decide to email in your name and contact information, you will receive a certificate for your wall, a membership number and a decal for your vehicle. When you send me your fishing pictures, I will post them on the website. When you have some fishing news whether is from Alaska or Key West……I will post it to the website for all of the members to enjoy. If you do wish to start tournaments in your areas, I will help you get started. I can send you some basis sample tournament rules, entry forms and weigh-in sheets. If you want to organize a tournament for a charity, I will send you some ideas to help you along the way. If you want to have some door prizes donated for an event, I have a few ideas that may help you. What do I want in return? I want to know more and more people are fishing because it is fun to do, it keeps families together and it keeps children off the street.
